The Lewis County Relay for Life held a concert at the Broken Wheel Campground in Weston in order to raise funds for the organization.
There were six different bands from around West Virginia that came to play and support the cause for free.
Lewis County team captain and cancer survivor Sherri Mett said the fundraiser cost was $5 per person and also included a silent auction for the guests with all proceeds going to Relay For Life in Lewis County.
“I had a great support group when my son was sick and the community just poured in, just did so much for us and I want to give back, want to give back, do anything I can. And I like music, so we can do the music thing,” said Mett.
The Lewis County Relay for Life has several fundraising events throughout the year. The next fundraiser will be on June 9.
