A Lewis County restaurant is welcoming customers again after being closed for months.
The Mountain Roots Market reopened to the public in Weston last Tuesday.
The restaurant aims to provide freshly-made food and donuts to area residents, and to use produce from area farmers as much as possible.
Staff there said the restaurant is the only place in Weston for freshly-made donuts.
“Flour, yeast, the whole nine yards. They don’t come in frozen, so they’re made completely from scratch. Everything’s made with love,” said Manager Constance Jenkins.
The restaurant is open from 6 in the morning to 9 at night Sunday through Thursday and until 10 on Friday and Saturday.
