A local campground is helping support an area Relay for Life team.
Broken Wheel Campground in Lewis County will hold a bluegrass and country concert on its grounds Saturday, May 19.
Proceeds from the event will go to support the Mountain Mamas and Pappas Relay for Life team in Lewis County.
Organizers said it is a personal cause they wanted to support as best they could.
“I lost my son to Ewing’s sarcoma in 1997, and I had a great support group in the people that was with us, and so I wanted to give something back,” said organizer and team captain Sherry Metz.
The concert starts at noon on Saturday and is open to the public. Tickets are $5 a person and kids under 6-years-old are free.
