Weston’s inaugural “Miracle on Main Street” draws a large crowd

A potential new tradition in Weston had its inaugural event Saturday..

The Weston “Miracle on Main Street” was organized by Terri Cole Walker of Weston.

Craft and food vendors were set up in various parking lots. And the Weston Fire Department was even giving assistance in the making of s’mores.

Other treats included cupcakes, fudge and kettle corn.

Horse-drawn sleigh rides, and a picture of the year voting contest were just some of the activities that brought a large crowd of people to downtown Weston.

“Love it! It’s a success when there’s people walking on the street. It is a very big success,” said Cole Walker.

Walker says she got the idea from watching Hallmark holiday movies, and she says after seeing the success of this year’s event is certainly hoping to continue it next year.
