Local Panera Bread help veterans transition back to civilian life

News

Panera Bread has been helping veterans transition from military life into civilian careers.

The restaurant chain presented a $4,000 check to Operation Welcome Home in Morgantown.

All 12 of Panera Bread’s West Virginia stores include canisters, in which donations can be made.

Operation Welcome Home services are completely free to veterans and their dependents.

“We love working with operation welcome home. I come from a military family myself and I know how important it is for an organization like operation welcome home to be here in West Virginia and helping military and veterans really transition back into civilian life. It’s so important and we’re proud to be a sponsor of them,” said Natalie Basilone, Panera Bread.

Operation welcome home offers its free services at its office at Mylan Park.
