The West Virginia Division of Highways advises motorists of a road closure on US 50 Westbound at the Downtown Salem Exit on Friday, May 25 beginning at 7:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m.
During this closure, both lanes of US 50 Eastbound, as well as the Downtown Salem Exit Westbound will be open. All super and wide loads will not be permitted to use the Downtown Salem Exit to detour through the City of Salem.
The purpose for this closure if for an emergency deck repair.
