2019 Cabin Fever Beer Festival held at Mylan Park

Monongalia and Preston

West Virginia‘s biggest indoor winter craft beer festival took over Mylan Park Saturday afternoon.

21 local vendors from all around the state competed in the 2019 Cabin Fever Beer Festival to see which beer is a crowd favorite.

Mylan Park was full of guests as they traveled around the various booths, games, and food available at the park.

Over 80 different beers, meads, and ales were available for tasting out of a souvenir cabin fever glass.

“They are all local craft beers, so every brewery here is a brewery in West Virginia. And its a pretty festive atmosphere inside. There’s a ton of people, a ton of beer, a ton a vendors, a ton of fun and its a really great time,” said Richard Dalton, competition director.

This year, local charities got in on the fun. Volunteers could earn funds for their organizations by working the event and over 10 charities showed up to help out.
