The Morgantown Historic Landmarks Commission hosted the 7th annual history round table Wednesday night.

The meeting centered around genealogical resources throughout the city and the recent survey of the Sabraton neighborhood.

Guests speakers gave information on current resources and how exploring history can influence the community.

“Well I think as think as things are changing faster and faster, especially in Morgantown, trying to keep a sense of historic preservation is important. And we just want to keep people aware of that,” said Shannon Tinnel, President Morgantown.

The group takes on different projects every year looking at historical districts in Morgantown.
