This past weekend, campers braved the elements at the annual Frostburn festival held in Masontown.
This is a regional event that is a music and art festival filled with cold weather fun.
Stoves were used to heat communal spaces, and heaters were used in the tents.
Temperatures dipped down to 14 degrees.
Organizers say this is an event where participants test themselves and push out of their comfort zones.
“It’s really about coming together in a community to overcome the elements and also celebrate self expression, art, music, and radical self reliance in the toughest of conditions.,” said Kris Verderber, Priority Five Camp Lead.
The Frostburn Festival was started in 2008.
