Two new members were voted into the WV House of Delegates for the 51st district in Monongalia County on Tuesday.
This included democrat, Danielle Walker.
Some of Walker’s platforms include safe affordable housing, union labor, the opioid crisis, education, and working families of West Virginia.
Her motto and theme throughout the campaign has been to “Listen and take a stand.”
“It means that everyone listened. Everyone used their voice, because their voice was their vote. People are fed up and fired up and I’m just so thankful and humble that everyone got to the polls everyone spoke how important this election was,” said Walker.
Walker says she owes a lot of thanks to Barbara Fleischauer , John Williams, and Rodney Pyles, for taking herself and Evan Hansen under their wings.
