Grammy award-winner Kathy Mattea host Mountain Stage at WVU Creative Arts Center

For more than 30 years Mountain Stage with Larry Groce has been performing live music for public radio.  

Sunday night, attendees were part of the live taping at West Virginia University Creative Arts Center enjoying multiple performances. Grammmy award-winning and West Virginia native Kathy Mattea served as guest host. The show features performances from rising artist in genres ranging from folk, blues, and country to name a few.

WVU said it has been the radio show’s second home for more than a decade; most of the shows are recorded in Charleston
