Friday, West Virginia University welcomed honors students on campus for their move-in day.
Nearly 1,000 honors students from the class of 2022 moved into residence halls all across campus.
To make the move-in process a little less chaotic, students are divided by date of birth and assigned times to arrive for their move-in.
Many student organizations volunteered to help these incoming freshman make the move.
“We’ve been at it since about 7 o’clock this morning and we actually had our first guests and we’ve been going nonstop, but it’s a really exciting time and we spend a lot of hours, but seeing all of the new faces really keeps us energized and excited,” said Jeremiah Kibler, area advisor for the WVU honors hall.
Friday evening, an Honors College Induction Ceremony will be held at the Morgantown Event Center.
