A book signing was held for a local author at the Morgantown Barnes and Noble Saturday afternoon.
Patricia Harman was signing copies of here recently released book, ‘Once a Midwife.’
This is part of the series ‘The Midwife of Hope River.”
This is set in 1941, just before Pearl Harbor.
It is about West Virginians facing the war at the homefront.
Books of Harman have been published in nine countries and translated into several languages.
“But the people who enjoy the book the most, I honestly think, are people from West Virginia, Pennsylvania, places around here who go, ‘Oh yea, I understand these things, I’ve been there, or my grandparents were there,” said Harman.
Harman has published a total of eight books so far.
