A legislative preview was hosted Thursday morning at the Morgantown Courtyard Marriot.

This was hosted by the governmental affairs committee of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce.

State legislators representing the area were invited to join.

This is a time for community members and chamber members to talk over issues with state representatives as they prepare for the 2019 legislative session.

“It’s a very good event. I think people, there were a number of questions on everything from higher education, to the mountaineer network, and other issues that have come up that I think will be very positive. It’s just the beginning of a lot of things we’re going to have to do during this upcoming legislative session,” said Eldon Callen, Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce.

Five delegates and two senators were present for this event.
