On Saturday, Morgantown High School hosted its annual Mohigan Idol at the Metropolitan Theatre to raise money for West Virginia University Medicine Children’s.
In 2017, Mohigan Idol raised over sixteen thousand dollars for the hospital, and hopes to raise even more. Representatives from Morgantown High School Student Council said hosting the event is fun and allows students from all over the county to higlight their talent in the show.
“The talent is amazing this year. We’re so excited, we have some acapella groups, some show choir, dancers, and contortionist,” said Allie Satterfield, Morgantown High School student body President.
Morgantown High School Student Council said they really appreciate those who have donated to help support WVU Medicine Children’s.
