Some community members in Morgantown spent International LEGO Day building and imagining with the little blocks.
Monday night, the Morgantown Public Library was opened to guests in Morgantown in celebration of International LEGO day.
The event was free to the public, LEGO building blocks and sets were available for use on site.
Guests could grab any pieces they needed and sit down to build their very own creation.
“Legos is a great way to incorporate STEM, or STEM activities into children. You know, you got your science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. And we let people’s imaginations come to life here by building whatever they want to create,” said Jay Gummer, with public relations at the library.
‘Take you Child to the library’ day is coming up at the Morgantown Public Library on February 2.
