Voters in Morgantown are choosing their city council members on Tuesday.

Polls opened early Tuesday morning at 6:30.

Nine different precincts were set up for voting.

The Morgantown City Clerk says 700 votes came in for early voting, and more than 500 made their way out to vote as of 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.

If you need help finding your precinct, you can call the city clerk’s office at 304-284-7434.

Results will be tabulated Tuesday evening in the lobby of City Hall and the public is welcome.

“We’ve been busy. Folks have been calling in to our office and asking ‘Where do we vote?’ and nonstop calls, so we think that’s a good thing, that they’re reaching out to us to find out where they vote,” said Christine Wade, Morgantown City Clerk.

Polls close at 7:30 p.m.
