MORGANTOWN W.Va –  WVU commencement activities will be happening this weekend.

Nearly 4,600 West Virginia University students are expected to graduate during commencement ceremonies on the Morgantown Campus.  Graduates and families attending ceremonies are asked to arrive one hour ahead of time to check in. There will be a total of 16 ceremonies taking place this weekend.

“We just want everybody to have a wonderful time. We are sad to see our students go, but are so proud of them to go out into the world and show them what West Virginia University does for them,” said Lisa Martin, Special Events Coordinator at the university.

Up to 15,000 guests are expected to visit this weekend to attend ceremonies. A full list of commencement ceremonies can be found here
