It’s that time of year again for the holiday open house held annually at the Old Stone House in Morgantown.
This is run by the Service League of Morgantown.
The gift shop is a non-profit organization and all proceeds are returned to the community as a charitable donation.
The shop carries a variety of items, including West Virginia artisan’s glass, and handcrafted items made by members of the league.
“It just gives us an opportunity. This is our major money maker, where we can provide more to the community, and all of the ladies that work here are volunteers, and it’s their way of returning to the community in a way that they love because the shop and this house which is on the historic registry, is our love,” said Marlene Pope,” Service League of Morgantown.
The Old Stone House is located at 313 Chestnut Street and the open house will be held November 2nd through the 4th.
