Pink Party raises funds for Bonnie’s Bus

Monongalia and Preston

Some community members in Morgantown were decked out with pink Monday night in celebration of Bonnie’s Bus.

The Bonnie Wells Wilson Mobile Mammography Program or Bonnie’s Bus is a mobile health unit that offers screenings throughout the state.

Community members met at Bartini in Morgantown to celebrate and contribute to the success of the bus.

“Bonnie’s Bus would not still be going on the roads today if it wasn’t for these types of events that raise funds to keep this bus going. So of course the bus offers mammograms to ladies across the state of West Virginia who don’t have access to getting a mammogram every day,” said Daniel Hare, Director of Market Engagement at the WVU cancer institute.

On Sept. 11, 2018 from 9am-5pm, Bonnie’s Buss will be at Aurora Fire Hall in Preston County. Check their calendar here for more information.
