MORGANTOWN W.Va – Preston Memorial Hospital hosted a Data Symposium on Thursday.

This was held to showcase performance improvement work done in the organization. The event shows how the hospital is working to make changes for the betterment of patients, to improve patient outcomes, lower costs and improve the patient experience.

“I’m really excited to be able to showcase the work that we’re doing in our organization and we’re a small hospital, but I think we’re really trying to move the needle on what we’re doing so that we can provide exceptional care in our community and I’m just excited to be able to have our staff be involved and show off the work that we do every year in our organizations,” said Melissa Lockwood, President and CEO of Preston Memorial Hospital.

Attendees represented more than eight hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout the state.
