A ribbon cutting and grand opening was held Thursday for new multi-million T-Hangars at the Morgantown Municipal Airport.
The Morgantown City Manager says it will increase the business capacity at the airport by being able to accommodate and increase the number of airplanes.
There are 35 T-Hangars which each hold a single engine.
This was a 4.6 million dollar project.
“I think it will increase the business capacity at the airport. We’ll be able to accomodate and increase the number of airplanes and more importantly for those individuals that have a twin engine airplanes that we can accommodate,” said Paul Brake, Morgantown City Manager.
The T-Hangar space will be filled within the next few months.
