If you frequently travel Point Marion Road, you may have seen the construction at the future site of the senior living facility The Crossings at Morgantown.
“We really focus on quality of life in insuring that our residents have everything they need in a full-service community,” said The Crossings at Morgantown’s Executive Director Tia Stevens-Hovatter.
Once it’s complete, The Crossings will feature 179 suites available to area residents.
“In Morgantown there’s a real need for these types of services, and we’re very excited here at The Crossings to be offering this to the community, not only here in Morgantown but the surrounding areas and the tri-state area as well,” Hovatter said.
The facility will consist of independent living, assisted living, and the Harmony Square neighborhood, which will be a secure memory area.
“We’ll offer chef inspired meals. We have a billiards room, a library, a theater, multiple things for our communities to do,” Hovatter explained. “Transportation so our communities will have lots of amenities as well.”
March-Westin has been working on the construction of the facility since the spring, and although it isn’t open yet, there are ways for the community to contact the Crossings.
“We have three different ways that the community can contact us,” Hovatter continued. “They can certainly visit our website. They can certainly give us a call and we’d be happy to send them and informational packet in the mail. Or we now have our welcome center open and our sales office open and they’re welcome to stop by anytime and we’d be happy to show them a virtual tour of our community.”
This location at 2996 Point Marion Road won’t be the only one in West Virginia.
“We actually are getting ready to open The Crossings at Martinsburg over in the Panhandle as well,” said Hovatter. “That will open in the spring of 2018 and then Morgantown will be next in the fall of 2018.”
