Trinity Christian School senior recognized as ‘Honorary Secretary of State’

West Virginia Secretary of State, Mac Warner, recognized a Trinity Christian School senior as an ‘Honorary Secretary of State.’

This was for Reagan Sharp’s efforts to register fellow classmates to vote.

The Honorary Secretary of State program recognizes high school students who are active in the voter registration process.

Sharp registered 34 fellow classmates.

“We got 100% of our class registered to vote. It’s always great that the seniors here, as they go out, they start to know what’s going on in our government, and they know that they can be a part of the democracy in the United States,” said Sharp.

Sharp is one of only 25 students statewide from just 16 high schools to earn the honor.
