A fashion show was hosted Saturday by Unicare Health Plan of West Virginia. This was held at Mountainview Elementary in Morgantown.

The event kicked off the spring season and promoted health and wellness.

Consignment stores in the area were featured, offering ensembles that can be purchased at low prices.

Many booths were set up at the event covering a variety of topics including literacy, health, cost saving benefits, and programming in the area.

The theme for the event was a Health Tips and Looking Hip Fashion Show.

We do have previews of all of their outfits in the fashion show, as well as on some racks. Just to give people an example of how much money they can actually save by utilizing our consignment stores and we have so many awesome ones in Morgantown, said Laura Mayhew, Community Relations Representative for Unicare Health Plan of West Virginia.

Models for the fashion show were children from the Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club.
