The West Virginia Grand Bash was held at Mylan Park on Saturday.
This is an event that raises funds for several different organizations, including the Hoss Foundation, Operation Welcome Home, WVU Medicine Children’s, and Mission for Miracles.
The bash offers ticket holders a chance at more than 50 prize drawings.
All 10,000 tickets for the event were sold, making this a sellout.
“It’s means a lot. As a veteran myself, supporting Operation Welcome Home, personally it means a lot to me,“ said Jamie Summerlin, WV Grand Bash. “But knowing that everybody walking through these doors is making a difference right here in their own community is something that is really special and unique and I couldn’t be more proud of Morgantown and the surrounding area for being here today and being a part of this,“ said Summerlin.
This was the highest attendance for the event in the past five years it has been held.
