WVU Libraries have opened Congressman Arch Moore archives and released digital photographs.
The staff digitized more than 900 images from the archives and made them available online.
Moore’s congressional archives include more than 200 boxes of speeches, legislative materials, and campaign and republican party files, West Virginia public works project documentation, correspondence with constituents, and more.
Moore’s collection is one of the largest in the center’s holdings.
“It’s a small portion of the collection and we continue to work on his governor’s papers. It will probably take us another couple of years to process those materials,” said Danielle Emerling, Congressional & Political Papers Archivist.
These congressional papers are open to the public. To view these documents, you can contact the Congressional and Political Papers Archivist for WVU Libraries.
