WVU students remembered the Veterans this holiday season.

The Public Relations Student Society of America, part of the Reed College of Media, wrote holiday cards to Veterans, Wednesday night, that will be mailed out in time for Christmas.

Some of the cards will be sent overseas, while the rest will be sent to Veterans in hospitals in and around Clarksburg. Honoring veterans is important to the organization.

“I’m actually a member of the Air National Guard, so it’s really important to me to give back to Veterans, and especially the ones overseas, you know, serving our country and doing so much for us.  So, we just thought this would be a good community service activity to do for PRSSA,” said community service chair Alexis Farmer.

The event took place in Martin Hall on the downtown campus.
