The name ‘Pizza Pro’ has been around Bruceton Mills since 1994, and has been at its location on Morgantown Street since November of 2017. The business was started by Jamie Bishoff and Reggie Grimes.
“So Pizza Pro right now, is the second oldest restaurant in Bruceton Mills. But Jamie and Reggie wanted a pizza shop and Jamie jumped head first into it with them,” said Stacy Zender, co-owner of the shop.
The new location provides a dining area, which is a first for the business, and desserts will soon be added to the ever-growing menu.
“Of course pizza, breadsticks, that’s been a constant. Salad, stromboli. We’ve now introduced deep fried food. We have fries, fish sandwiches. Deep fried wings. We have chicken tenders, we’ve just got a wide variety of everything and we’re trying to add more stuff as we’re kind of going along,” said Zender.
All pizzas are homemade and hand tossed.
The pizzeria plays a big part in the community by constantly holding fundraisers.
“Customers are amazing. We know almost every single person. I can tell you everybody from what they order. We’re just a close community. We’re a very very small community. We always support anybody that we can. We try to do what we can. We give back as much as possible,” said Zender.
Customers say this is a great place to bring your kids.
“It’s very kid friendly. I mean they welcome. The kids play in the playroom. You don’t feel ashamed to take your kid to a restaurant and they start screaming,” said Julie Miller, customer.
“Obviously, you can eat in or deliver. You can pick up. So it’s really nice to have here in the town so that we have that option,” said Tammy Bishoff, customer.
All pizzas at Pizza Pro, are made to order. One of the most popular pizza’s at the establishment is the Bar-B-Que chicken.
