Walk to End Alzheimers holds volunteer kick-off party

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s kicked-off on Friday evening with a party for volunteers at Meagher’s Irish Pub in Bridgeport.

Those interested were able to learn how they can get involved with the North Central Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

This was an opportunity for those who want to make an impact on Alzheimer’s,  to give back and receive information about joining the planning committee.

“They just pretty much go around from different tables. We have logistics, team recruitment, sponsorship, so they can go from table to table and get more information about the different positions on the committee,” said Christina Beck, President of the Alzheimer’s Association West Virginia Chapter.

The walk will be held on September 30 at the Clarksburg Amphitheater .
