The Marion County Historical Society is preparing to host its annual Holiday Historic Homes Tour.

Saturday, November 24th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the beautiful and historic homes of Marion County will open their doors to the public.  Most are decorated for the holidays and some have live music and refreshments.

“We have a number of historical houses. One new this year is the Snodgrass one room school house that sits on the campus of Fairmont State College. I’m going to be working it Saturday and really looking forward it and really excited about the whole event,” said Mark Bowyer, Marion County Historical Society.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $23 at the door.  For more information click here.
