On Tuesday night, the Marion County community came out to support 10 years of success at the Disability Action Center.
The doors were opened in 2009 and the director, Julie Sole, said its grown exponentially.
The evening included a free open house with refreshments, acknowledgements and a look back at the growth of the organization from the past 10 years.
“We couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished in the past 10 years. We want to thank those people that got us here. It wasn’t me, it was our community, many granters, many donors were able to help us get not only this center and the building to the way it looks now, but also our programs to where we are serving more and more people with disabilities in north central West Virginia,” said Sole.
The Disability Action Center plans to continue its growing progress over the coming years.
