Fairmont State gives update on Falcon Center’s Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, and Chilaca construction

Marion

In early May, Fairmont State University announced the expansion project of the Falcon Center to add food services like Chick-fil-A, Starbucks and Chilaca. With less than a month remaining until classes start, the highly sought-after food chains are looking to finish in a timely manner for students and locals to enjoy.

“We anticipate that Chick-fil-A will open pretty close to schedule with the anticipated opening date of September 3 and in addition to that, we are doing some modifications to the traffic flow on campus to provide a seamless transition for community members when they come to visit the new venue” said Christa Kwiatkowski, Chief Financial Officer of Fairmont State University.

Chilaca will be projected to open around the first day of classes in August with Starbucks shortly following an on-schedule opening of early January.
