FAIRVIEW, W.Va. – An elementary school and a middle school in Marion County will both be closed on Friday due to water issues, according to officials.
Fairview Elementary School and Fairview Middle School will both be closed on Friday, May 31 due to the boil water advisory affecting the entire town.
The boil water advisory was issued on Thursday afternoon by the West Virginia Health Department. Health department workers are working to gather samples from Fairview’s water system, as the previous samples needed to be replaced.
No other information, including additional closure, has been given.
