Marion

FirstEnergy Corp. officially started their recruiting process for the Fairmont call center office.

The company says that they are focused on graduating high school seniors in the surrounding area that are looking to start their post school career in a strong way.

“There’s a lot of upward mobility potential here. There’s a potential for getting into a great company, there is potential for health benefits, and tuition reimbursement. There are a lot of great things about working here. There’s retirement type plans that you can get involved with,” said Todd Meyers, FirstEnergy spokesperson.

“The reason why I think this is a great opportunity is because wages are competitive. There’s a lot of opportunities for advancement, there’s a great environment to work in and I work with a great group of people. The schedules here are wonderful and it allows you to still spend time with your family, ” said Carrie Carpenter, five-year customer service representative.

The company will conduct interviews in May and June, with accepted applicants starting in July.
