In Fairmont, dancing and auctions went on throughout the night on Saturday.

The Regional Healthcare Foundation hosted the 2nd annual ‘Hop Into the Holidays’ dance and auction event.

Attendees paid a flat fee for access to food, live music, and a chance to win prizes.

All proceeds benefited the Regional Healthcare Foundation. Guests were encouraged to bring mittens, gloves or socks, a donation that went to the FRMC Clothing Closet and Shelters in Marion County.

Greeting cards were also apart of the decorations and went to the veteran’s hospital in Clarksburg and various health care facilitates in the region.

“Great community involvement, We had lots of donors for the food, for silent and live auctions item and then had some sponsors. This year we had our different level sponsors, and they were snowball, candy cane, mistletoe, silver bell, and five golden ring sponsors,” said Mary Jo Thomas, vice chair board.

The board said community support make these event successful.
