The Inaugural Market in the Park scheduled to be held at Morris Park in Fairmont, Marion County has been rescheduled due to inclement weather, now scheduled for Thursday, December 7th, 2017.

The Marker is being held in conjunction with the Annual Light Display that features over 420 light displays in Morris Park. Vendors scheduled to attend include Heston Farm Winery, Lularoe and even the Sip Station.

Normally, Morris Park has vehicle traffic moving through to see the holiday decorations, but on this evening they will be shutting the park down to vehicle traffic and allow everyone to walk through and shop local and purchase great food from local vendors. 

The event will kick off at 6:00 PM and go until 10:00 PM. There is a $10 donation to get into the park to do your shopping with the proceeding benefiting the United Way of Marion County.
