Local beer, wine and burger restaurant to open in Fairmont

FAIRMONT, W.Va. - A local restaurant, focusing on beer and burgers will welcome itself to the Fairmont area in the near future.

Jag Beer Burger Bowery will be the home of custom 'build-your-own burgers', local craft beers, wine and over seven signature burgers.

"We will have a pretty unique menu. We will have a build-your-own burger section where you can just go in if you want a single or a double burger. You can request whatever cheese - you want toppings, we have free toppings then we also have unique toppings for $0.75 to a $1.25 where you can add and build your toppings to whoever you want to." said restaurant General Manager Jimmy Sear.

The restaurant is located right behind Jag Laundry on 425 Fairmont Ave, making accessibility and proximity easier to residents.

"We just want you to feel at home, to where you know that this is a place where you can come unwind. It's open area kitchen, you can talk to us while we're here - just have a good time. We are going to open up after activities in town, which is what a lot of people don't do. We want a place for after Fairmont State games, so that they can grab something after those events if they would like." Sear stated.

The Bowery will serve sandwiches like Hot Italian, crab cakes, seared salmon, "The Mother Clucker", a chicken breast topped with brie cheese, sweet cabernet onions, dijon mustard and microgreens and many more selections of salads and sandwhiches.

Jags Beer Burger Bowery is predicted to open July 31 at 11 a.m.
