The Marion County Public Library System is introducing the GoChip Beam Movie and TV Hotspot.
Each GoChip contains either five movies of a similar genre or a season of television.
GoChip contains a rechargeable battery and a WiFi broadcaster.
After downloading the app and connecting to the GoChip Wi-Fi signal you are set to go!
“You can connect to the go chip beam and broadcast movies or TV shows to your device, so you can stream without actually being connected to the internet or to any kind of cable or satellite in any way,” said virtual library branch manager, Elizabeth Butta
The library will start with 40 GoChip Beams for now.
Up to eight users can stream any movie or episode stored on the device to a variety of devices.
