Marion County BOE members meet with state legislatures to discuss upcoming efforts

Members of the Marion County Board of Education met with state elected legislatures at the Copper House Grill to discuss a variety of topics on issues and growth opportunities for schools within the Marion County area. Michael Angelucci, Donna Blood and Bob Beach were just some of the elects who gathered for the meeting.

“We’re always looking for some help in some specific areas so that will be one of the things that we will be a dressing with the legislators they are always answers to see what our needs are and it’s just a good opportunity to let them know here are some areas that we would like some assistance and and if not this year maybe next year.” said Gary Price, superintendent for Marion County Board of Education.

Representatives will set to Charleston to meet with fellow state officials in the upcoming year.
