Marion County agencies and local officials gathered together at Muriales Italian Kitchen Friday afternoon.
The Marion County Chamber of Commerce hosted the “Lunch and Learn” luncheon to help bring a better awareness and knowledge to businesses on how to adapt to crisis situations within day-to-day corperate work.
The keynote speaker, Aly Goodwin Gregg was recommended by Marion County Visitor’s Center director Leisha Elliot.
“Planning is absolute critical I mean the Boyscouts said ‘be for prepared’ anytime you have a crisis situation 9 times out of 10 it’s something that the business could have prepared for previously by understanding their business model, if they’ve manufacture, if they deal with people, if they relate to the public in any fashion, how they can be prepared to respond to an issue or challenge.” Aly Goodwin Gregg, keynote speaker.
The chamber of commerce and visitors bureau will continue to host lunch and learns throughout the year.
