Members of the Division of Highways District Four met with county commissioners Wednesday morning, as the focus on road repair in the area continues.
Workers from both the DOH swat team and maintenance crew updated the community on the current status of work looking to be done in the year 2019.
According to District 4 officials, more than 60 miles of road will be worked on for the 2019 Marion County Roads Project.
“It’s nice to see these bigger projects being attempted to be completed and then finished up and also the attention has to be focused now on the secondary roads and it was identified today by another represent of the Department of Highways to provide a website fornus to be able to contact them,” said Randy Elliot, commissioner for Marion County.
