Marion County FRN prepares to honor residents for 4th annual heroes dinner

Marion County Family Resource Network will host its 4th Annual Marion County Heroes Award Dinner on April 26th at the Robert H. Mollohan Center.

The organization will present live and silent auction opportunities for guests, as over 20 nominees will have the opportunity to receive the 2019 hero award.

This year the FRN will also be partnering with Pierpont Community and Technical College to award one nominee with the Francis Pierpont Lifetime Achievement Award.

“The heroes that have been nominated thus far for this award are our unsung heroes. These are folks that are doing things behind the scenes sometimes and those that don’t get credit for some of the things that they do and what a wonderful way that the family resource network has come up with to award those people for the great things that they do.” said Dana Powell, community liaison for the Family Resource Network.

Tickets for this year’s heroes dinner are available until the day of the event, with public voting closing on April 1, 2019.

For ways on how to vote and purchase tickets you can call the the FRN office at 304-366-4445 or email
