Marion County Public Library allowed students to put down the books and step into a three-dimensional world as the library fired up its 3D printer to allow those within the class to make one-of-a-kind items.
Those who participated in previous classes had the freedom to use the skills they had developed, while newcomers learned the basics of 3D printing. Monday’s class was focused on making heart coasters.
The next 3D printing class will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Marion County Public Library of Fairmont.
