A mobile food pantry event was hosted Thursday morning in Marion County.
The Mountaineer Food Bank and Connecting Link partnered to distribute food to feed nearly 200 families in the area.
Everything from canned goods, cereal and producer were given out.
“It is a blessing for us to partner with many different agencies and have the volunteer turnout to bring hope back into the community, that people do care, about people that they do not know, that are struggling and are having hard times,” said Tambra, Mountaineer Food Bank.
All of the food that was not distributed at the event on Thursday will stay within Marion County and will be passed on to various food banks.
