MVB Bank presents check to help children who are battling cancer

A local Fairmont bank has given back in a powerful way for families struggling with childhood cancer.

MVB Bank presented a $1,000 check to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

ALSF Foundation raises money to help bring awareness for research, testing and treatments for family’s with children battling cancer.

“For our families, it’s the most important thing that the community can do and like I said Mon Valley Bank has been a supporter of our family and this Nueroblastoma Journey from day one.” said Misty Rohaly, mother of cancer-survivor son “Super Simon”.

Since the first lemonade stand in 2000, ALSF has raised more than 140 million dollars – which has helped fund more than 690 research projects and have helped families around the world with travel to appointments.
