Non profit organizations plan to take over downtown Fairmont for 2019 Spring Into Action

FAIRMONT, W. Va. – Multiple non profit organizations will join forces for a day of family fun activities, as the Spring Into Action Fair welcome all to attend.

The fun will include live animal adoption centers, inflatables, live music and more. The event will also provide an opportunity for people to learn about area’s organizations and what they do.

“The none profits are all doing different activities and so there certainly will be balloons and balloon animals. There’s face painting, we have food vendors and food trucks. There’s going to be some pie in the face I believe from the family resource network and so really all of the activities are fun, family-friendly,” said Brett White, director of United Way of Marion County.

Spring Into Action Fair will take place Saturday, May 4 in downtown Fairmont at the Veteran Square Plaza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
