The Rambling Root in Fairmont continues to host weekly events featuring musicians to showcase their talents, and for the community to enjoy a serene time of drinks and music.

Thursday night, the pub will host 12-string guitarist Greg Short who is well known for his widely diverse sound, ranging from classic rock, blues, country and many of his original songs.

“You know I think our food is an art, brewing is an art and music is an art and that is something that we try to keep going. Josh and myself are both musicians and we’ve played lots of places separately, and we know how important is to some people.” said co-owner, D.J. Cassell.

The free concert will start at 7pm, featuring monthly drink specials and signature meals.
An open-mic night will take place for the public two weeks from today on September 6.
