Andria and Erica Halsey are sisters who were born 17 months apart, but the bond of sisterhood is not the only thing that makes them close. It’s Matthew Lee and Aubriella Jayed, who were born on the same exact day only 2 hours apart.
“We were just texting each other back and forth because I mean the nurses were like ‘ you guys’ strips look the same oh my goodness’ I mean I think even or water’s probably ruptured spontaneously within minutes of each other as well.” said Andria Halsey, mother of Matthew.
Matthew Lee was the first one born at 12:50pm on Wednesday weighing 6 lbs. 4oz. Aubriella followed behind at 2:59pm, weighing 6lbs 14oz.
Both mothers say this isn’t the first time something similar has happened, as both of their first children were born only 22 days apart 6 years ago, bringing the sisters even closer than before.
“I do know that our mother dressed us a liked and we did get asked all the time if we were twins, but as far as us sharing birthdays, no, but she did make the comment when we found out that we were going to be on the same day delivering them, ‘birthdays together forever’ is what she said.” said Erica Halsey, mother of Aubriella.
With Andria’s son Matthew being her third boy and Erica’s daughter being her second girl, both sisters said they both felt blessed that instead of being alone they are glad to once again have each other.
” I feel blessed just because I have somebody to go through it with me, just somebody who can relate to it and you know I can pick up the phone and she is probably going to be at the same type of situation and I can talk to her about it.” Andria said.
