West Virginia Beepkeepers Association kicked off its 2018 ‘Meant to Bee’ Fall Conference

The West Virginia Beepkeepers Association kicked off its 2018 ‘Meant to Bee’ Fall Conference at the Robert H. Mollohan Center, bringing in enthusiasts state-wide for workshops and educational opportunities that go hand in hand with being a professional beekeeper.

“Different techniques to keep them alive over the winter, collecting pollen and uses for the products of the hive, because other than the honey the bees also produce wax and pollen and propulous and all of the products are used for different things.” said Louisa Householder, Program Chair of the conference.

The conference will continue Saturday morning, where attendees will have a chance to participate in Honey Shows, Auctions and a forum with the state beekeeper Apiarist.
